Join our Classic project and help us build our collection of seminal Lions winners

Over the past two years, we've invested in the restoration and digitisation of selected Lions winners spanning 1954-2000, to bring you this Classic collection. Working with Cinelab(opens in a new tab), the film laboratory, we first digitised ads from the 1950s-1970s from original 35mm film, followed by ads from 1980-2000 from tape.

All these films and tapes came from our archive warehouse. But along the way we made a discovery: our records are incomplete in some places. And, in other places, our records are not as well documented as we'd hoped. We have very little content from 1980-1988, and the detail around our 1990s’ content made it a challenge to find and identify the winning work.

So this is where we want help from you, the creative community that Cannes Lions brings together, to join us in our journey to complete this celebration of iconic creativity. If you have any Lion-winning work from the last century that you can't find in our Classic collection - in any medium - then we'd love to showcase it here. Likewise, if you have additional detail on the campaigns we do have - perhaps commentary or other creative executions - get in touch.
