Description

So we created a film featuring three artists performing popular Christmas carols- but in the Sufi style. The video ended with a simple Christmas wish - Don't lose faith in humanity just yet.

We released it on social media and on our cable network, and the message quickly spread, as people applauded and debated the message of peace and love that the video stood for.

Execution

The debate around the 'War on Christmas' was coming to a head when we released our video, just a few days before Christmas, prompting thousands of people to perhaps rethink their views.

By showing three Sufi musicians playing popular Christmas carols, we challenged what was a commonly accepted world-view: this thing is Christian, this thing is Muslim and the two can never meet.
