Patients who suffer from peripheral neuropathic pain (PNP) are most commonly treated with “heavy duty” systemic pain medication. This almost certainly makes for systemic side effects that hinder the patient in daily life and lowers quality of life. The print we present here are a part of our mission to break the habitual prescription of systemic painkillers by showing HCPs that other treatments are available. We establish Qutenza as a viable alternative because of its local application (it is a plastic film/patch), efficacy and lack of systemic side effects.
