A heart-warming story about a man - and the love of his life. A man charts his love for the girl he gave his heart to from the moment they were laid side by side as babies in the maternity ward. Through childhood and adolescence, he never stops loving her, but when he goes to war he finds out she has married someone else. From that day on, he never gives his heart to anyone else. One day, now an old man, he sees his childhood sweetheart throwing her wedding ring away. He tracks her down and at last it seems that the couple will finally have their happy ending, but just before he can kiss her, the man dies of a heart attack.
