Description
The world stood together to commemorate the passing of Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, an icon for which there will never be a replacement. As a sign of respect and because Coca-Cola has been doing a lot of work with the Mandela foundation, we took all of our TV adverts off air for a week from the day he passed away and replaced them with a black screen with just a website address written of it. The web address was www.rememberingmandela.co.za and people could go there to leave their messages of condolence. The week long black out was followed by this advert, using Coca-Cola bottles to tell Mandela’s story and remind people to live his legacy.
