Description

Audi has always celebrated the spirit of staying uncompromised. Audi conceived a never-before-seen creature to show the frightening consequences of bringing compromise into the world.

Execution

We decided to create a limited edition run of posters to give to the first 1,000 VIPs (Audi A3 hatchback owners) who came to the Auto Show to see the new A3. Invitations were sent to the VIPs in advance. The poster design was the perfect way to debut the new A3 in the Fog City. It showcased the unique LED lights of the Audi A3 piercing through a blanket of fog while barreling down the Golden Gate Bridge. The poster was printed on Neenah Stardream Silver 105lb Cover metallic stock using two hits of white ink and one hit of spot UV ink.

Outcome

We printed 1,000 copies, all of which went quickly on the day of the Auto Show. Several people have asked for reprints, including the dealer network.
