Description
The task was to develop a creative art inspired solution for an upper management present in dedication to the 10 year partnership between adidas and the New Zealand Rugby Union (NZRU) / All Blacks.
Execution
The Art Box Collection teamed up with us. We asked ourselves what is rugby all about?It all starts with the ball, hence the leather bound box with a shoe lace as closure and a laser-etched Maori tribal to honour the special connection of the national team to New Zealand’s heritage. All relevant tools of a rugby game and the key values of the partnership inspired the box- elements, amongst others these are:- Studs of original rugby boots holding a Plexiglas cover with team set ups and etched names of all those who dedicate their time to this partnership.- Personalized rugby mouth guards for each recipient of the box and many more.
Outcome
The publication was limited to 160 pcs., for upper management and key partners. The feedback was great. The recipients were excited about the present and its design, combined with the booklet content.
