Description

The year has 365 days – usually. In 2008, we were given an extra day: 29 February. We used it to honour ‘slowness’ with a series of features. In an ever-accelerating world, we hosted readings, ‘call-in shows’ and fabulous multimedia features on the topic of slowness, taking the pace out of the day. The whole event was broadcast live, direct from a webcam, on a banner at Horizont.net. Horizont.net is the German web-version of the advertising age. We assume, the first live stream banner in the world. Boy was it long-winded!
