The client in this case happens to be the agency itself.Rediffusion DYR changed to Rediffusion Y&R.The brief was to communicate this change in an arresting fashion and get people to talk about what would otherwise be a routine, academic exercise.
Execution
How do you make history, heritage and legacy really cool? That is what we tried to crack. After a fair amount of experimentation, we settled on an easy, irreverent style.
Outcome
All those who recently joined the agency received a copy of this booklet on day one. Invariably, everybody expressed surprise and confessed that they didn't know they were joining a place that has such a solid heritage. At the very least, they were reassured they had made the right move.
