We published in LatinSpots' December issue which talked about advertising in Mexico. We hired a person to tear the ad away from all the magazines of the publication only leaving in the corner the usual Agency signature that accompanies ads, so the target will know that there was a DDB Mexico ad.
Outcome
The trick worked beautifully. Advertising people talked about whether it was a good ad? They looked for other copies to view the ad. And in this case, people do tear out ads.
