Description
The same procedure as every year – thanking clients and partners for the cooperation, wishing them a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year ... all this of course as creative as possible...
Execution
Using an old German tradition: so called “Bleigießen” – we put the emphasis of this measure not on Christmas but on New Year’s Eve. “Bleigießen” is a game where lead (or tin) is melted and then poured into cold water. Your future is then read from the shapes formed in the water in much the same way as reading shapes in tealeaves. Instead of the typical tin objects we used tokens of Wunderman’s core competences and wrote business relevant explanations for even the most obscure forms. When the tin (lead) is used up one can continue the game online.
Outcome
Calls and letters of thanks for the offline mailing.83% of the addressees also visited the website. And 26% told us that they actually have welcomed the New Year together with their agency. A measure that literally made Wunderman present also in the holiday season.
