Delta.com offers sleek design, speed and efficiency to those who prefer online check-in. MINI Cooper offers the same sensibility and made the perfect cross-promotional partner to tout the benefits of Online Check-In on delta.com. A campaign created by Modem Media offered customers the chance to win a fully customizable MINI simply by checking in online. To create a dynamic look that teased the eye, Modem Media created a 3-D animated model and used Flash to execute the campaign—all firsts for delta.com. Frequent business travelers, one of Delta’s more sophisticated target groups, responded overwhelmingly to the sleek design and experience and more than 100,000 customers registered in a two-week period. Online Check-In received a significant boost, more than doubling the number of users while realizing a 300% increase in usage during the campaign.
