Placed a billboard with actual closets in gay districts then arranged for doors to open at the start of Pride festivities. Convinced eBay to partner with liquor brand for first time then secured intriguing auction items from celebrities. Ran pop-up insert in four magazines, all of which then subsidized promotional events and donated auction items. Collaborated with GoCards to create postcards at no cost. Sponsored National Coming Out Project parties, including a celebrity-studded event at Versace NY.
Outcome
Built a revolutionary platform that benefited both Absolut and the HRC. The website received over 1MM visitors in one week. The unique board and spectacular interactive magazine insert generated PR buzz. Most importantly, our sponsorship efforts raised awareness of important GLBT community issues and money to support the HRC initiatives.
