We visualised the square centimetres of property by turning them into keychains. It became a nice give-away for Amsterdam Inbusiness to give hand outs during fairs and business meetings. We built a website to make sure that Amsterdam Inbusiness could not only give information away but also receive e-mail addresses and other valid information from prospects and build a database full of interesting business contacts for the future.
Outcome
We managed to get a huge number of civil servants who work for the city excited about this campaign; this is not an easy thing to do. Because of this, all the square centimetres are now being handed out to interested parties at fairs and meetings all over the world. A lot of business blogs and magazines wrote about this campaign. And we had one of the best ambassadors for this project; the mayor of Amsterdam; Job Cohen.
