What is a better place to make the beauty ideals of the fashion industry an issue than a fine art museum? After all, this is the one place where you can find displays of different beauty ideals over the centuries as well as an audience that is eager to dispute aesthetics and related issues. Surprisingly, we were the first to make use of this perfect environment.

Outcome

The surprise encounter with the altered paintings left a lasting impression on most visitors: Some of them were truly shocked. Several local and national newspapers even ran articles about the campaign. Subsequently, the traffic on ANAD’s website increased by 16%. And ANAD received some remarkably high donations.
