Brazilians are always trying to be better looking but when the subject is plastic surgery many become afraid. Fear increases at an older age fear due to the fact that the body is more fragile therefore they begin seeing plastic surgery as a unnecessary risk. In this scenario the beauty and cosmetic industry found an opportunity. They are growing at 10 to 15% per year in a time where the country’s economy is shrinking. 2015 estimates show that Brazilians will spend around 50 million Reais in beauty products.
