OVERVIEW

Description

The fact that cigarettes kill is well-known, but the spot "Hospital Beds" sheds light on the huge number of people who are sick at any given time from Big Tobacco's products. We see a growing group of teens pushing hospital beds through the city.

Eventually there are hundreds of beds, all converging on the front door of a hospital. A teen says to the camera, "In this hospital there are 190 beds. But there are over 8 and a half million people in the U.S. sick with diseases caused by the tobacco industry’s products. We're gonna need more beds."
