Description
This spot examines the lengths the Army would go to, sacrifies its men make to be a force present when needed.Instead of a “Now”, all action approach, it presents a retrospective view of the Army playing crucial role in world events, “walking and not just talking the talk”, keeping true to the humanity presented; national pride, personal exploration, truth, the core of being in the Army.Examined through the eyes, minds of soldiers actually involved - SQ117 hijacking(1991), peacekeeping in East Timor(2002), Afghanistan(2007), rebuilding tsunami ravaged Bandar Aceh(2004), protecting key installations, we hear personal accounts of what it was like being there and we took it further with cinematography and editing bringing the viewer right into the heart of these accounts transporting him back in time to the actual event….the seconds before the commando and team stormed the airplane, first-hand witness to the aftermath of the Tsunami,...With this treatment we aimed to immerse the viewer totally, connect them visually and mentally via the soldier on the ground. This powerful device grabs the viewer by the jugular, gives him no choice but to be caught up in the action and emerge with a deep sense of pride.
