The Fondation Abbé Pierre, which unceasingly works to combat substandard housing, is taking on the precariousness of many people’s ability to heat in winter. The outdoor and print campaign by BDDP Unlimited that launches on Tuesday, December 6th illustrates the daily suffering of the 8 million people in France who no longer have the means to heat their homes due to the rise in energy prices combined with a drop in purchasing power.Two visuals with the same headline – “They love each other, but that's not what keeps them so close." - show couples huddled together against the cold. The photos in this campaign were shot by Marc Gouby in actual substandard housing.
