One reason preventing youth from watching horse racing is the negative image of a “dirty” horse racing track. This is an unfortunate misconception.In order to erase their misconception, we want people to SEE the beauty of a horse racing track. We made an interactive website where users can experience a “Virtual Photo Session.”Users can photograph a posing celebrity throughout the track. Those photos can be shared by SNS or printed out to make an actual photo album. Also people can enjoy the album via smart devices as an eBook. The user can then share their albums with friends and help spread the word.
Outcome
• Over 12 million hits on the website.
• Over 16 million photos uploaded to the site (a Guinness World Record!) • Over 1 million users tweeted about the site!
• After an online survey, over 200,000 users want to visit a horse racing track.
