Description
In Ireland, when a child is lost the whole country comes to a standstill. We all do what we can to help because we know that child is important. Lost posters are erected on walls and lampposts across the country to get the message out.
This outdoor campaign for children’s charity, Barnardos, uses the visual language of traditional lost posters to raise awareness of the thousands of children lost in plain sight. Children lost to homelessness, poverty and neglect.
To grab the public’s attention, these posters weren’t erected at traditional ad sites but instead appeared pasted to random walls, in the exact same manner as a traditional lost posters.
The body copy of each of our 24 Lost posters told the true stories of children lost to homelessness, poverty and neglect who were in desperate need of Barnardos care and appealed to the reader to support Barnardos’ work.
