Description

BBC Two’s White Season is a series of programmes focusing on the issues of the white working class in today’s Britain, and how they’re becoming marginalised. People from many different cultures are writing on a white working class man’s face the words ‘I love Britain’ and ‘Britain is changing’ to reflect their presence and effect on Britain’s national identity. The poignant British anthem ‘Jerusalem’ plays throughout. The man’s face becomes so covered in ink that eventually it disappears into the background, becoming invisible, reflecting his loss of identity.
