Inside a grand opera theatre, the film depicts the love of music with a beautifully shot and majestically lit composition of orchestral instruments and the beautifully dressed musicians. The orchestra begins playing "God Only Knows" by The Beach Boys bringing familiarity and warmth to the screen as we see Martin James Bartlett, winner of the 2014 BBC Young Musician of the Year competition, followed by a spotlit Pharell Williams on the microphone singing the lyrics. Emilie Sande takes over soon replaced by Elton John and so it becomes a fantastic relay with the likes of Lorde, Chris Martin, Brian Wilson, Florence Welch, Kylie Minogue, Stevie Wonder, Jools Holland, Brian May, Jake Bugg, Lauren Laverne, One Direction, Paloma Faith, Jamie Cullum, Dave Grohl and Sam Smith amongst other amazingly talented artists and performers. This film brakes away from the stage and any time of normality as the curtains are drawn revealing a wonderland which takes over the screen and the performing artists before we drift off to the sunset hued clouds spotted with hot air balloons which carry our artists to the heavens. We then return to Brian Wilson on the ground piano to zeal off our love of music.
