OVERVIEW

Description

The pretentious language of high society and conspicuous consumption is juxtaposed against simple good times. Miller Brewing founder Frederick Miller believed that everyone should have access to the good life, which is why he created the Champagne of Beers.

Execution

Open on a group of friends walking down a city street. The narrator introduces us

to each of them to make the point that it’s not money that makes a man truly rich.

NARRATOR: I am rich. My social circle includes captains of industry, former Secretaries of State, oil tycoons, and ambassadors of countries known for their fine cheeses. Yes, I am rich. That’s why I drink the Champagne of Beers.

End on the Miller logo and “The Champagne of Beers.”
