Situation:
KFCs new creative platform, Anything for the Taste, made a huge impact with its inception work: Taste Inspector; a tribute to an urban legend that impersonated a food inspector and travelled across South Africa to get free KFC.
Brief:
To prove that ‘Anything for the Taste’ is creatively fertile as a territory, how else can we bring it to life in a relevant, compelling way?
Objectives:
To find and tell a relatable story that further reinforces the provocative statement; ‘some will do Anything for the Taste’.

The piece was met with resounding positive sentiment, reaching over 1.2 million views in the first 9 days. Online advertising & media pundits applauded the piece – praising the power of its simple yet effective brand storytelling and even the National Sea & Rescue Institute of South Africa celebrated the films representation of lesser known South African environmental research programmes outside South African borders.
