Execution
In outdoor media and print, large serviettes were created to enhance ad interaction in a rather uncommon way. Instead of just showing people something funny, we actually let them touch, feel, play with the advertising, and even brining a piece of it home, i.e. pulling the large serviette out of the newspaper or the large outdoor dispensers. In this case the medium conveyed the message. Furthermore, the digital solutions for the campaign utilized Internet advertising possibilities in a new and fresh way. Huge banners, showing only the enormous burger, were placed on popular sites, where you had to scroll to see the whole thing. Other banners that took a really long time to load (because of the burger’s size) were also executed. Common for the solutions in the campaign is that they all show the benefit of the hamburger’s size in an original and funny way.
Outcome
Since this solution is part of a larger campaign for the product, it is hard to isolate effects. However, the Big ‘N’ Juicy was a big sales success and since many people interacted with the solution and also spread it digitally, one can assume that it played a significant role.
