The goal of this campaign was to announce Macy’s first ever 4am opening for its Black Friday Sale. But there was one hitch – every other retailer in America was putting on the same sale. To stand out, we leveraged Macy’s exclusive relationship with several celebrity designers. We tailored the spots specifically to each designer, creating outrageous scenarios where people were roused by our stars at the crack of dawn. In this spot we feature Martha Stewart, stroking a rooster in the bedroom of an unsuspecting couple. And with the stars on our side, no one could possibly sleep through Macy’s Black Friday Sale.
