Description

Falcão is the best indoor soccer player of all times mainly due to his dribbling skills. Having that in mind, at the launching of the Umbro Falcão Pro Black/White boot, we developed an exclusive box, to be given to specialized media public including the main e-commerce owners of the country. Alike a regular boot box, the person was induced to open it in the usual way, pulling the lid out. But, as well as what happens with Falcão’s adversaries, they find out that they were tricked. Underneath the lid, we displayed the message “OLÉ”, the expression used by fans when a player performs a dribble. The person then finds out that the opening of the box is on its opposite side.

Execution

The box having 35cm x 13cm x 22cm in dimensions was mailed during the period of August, 3rd, 2015 and April, 30th, 2016. The integration between the design and the product Black and White was perfect. The design of the box demonstrated the use of the product, bringing out a smile in the ones manipulating it since the box itself dribbles the ones who receive it. It was key in the product acceptance at sales channels such as Netshoes and Dafiti, sales leaders in Brazil.

Outcome

The box was useful in making the website owners and opinion makers to grasp the product concept what made it to be portrayed in the main sales points. The result was the product was sold out.
