Background
1.5 billion people worldwide use Facebook. Three quarters of them on their smartphones. That's why many brands use Canvas Ads to present themselves in the Facebook timeline.
Unfortunately, Canvas Ads are not interactive and can only be filled linearly with pictures, texts and videos.
Execution
Of course, this complex interaction could not be solved with a single canvas ad. That's why we simply linked 64 separate canvas ads to each other in a clever way.
For the first time ever, users can now style a vehicle directly in their Facebook timeline. They simply choose the preferred model, paint, rims and interior. And in the end they can even test drive their individually configured BMW X3.
