Description
All normal Europeon restrictions and regulations for Alcoholic drinks are valid in this Branded entertainment case.
Execution
1. Organise 3 border football games at 3 of Europe's most intense borders: Belfast N-Ireland, Nicosia (Cyprus-Turkey) and Merdare crossing border between Kosovo-Serbia. (These three games are only the beginning of Carlsberg's long term commitment to organise Border Football games across the globe).
2. Invite people to get closer and play the game.
3. Film every event and edit it into one film
4. Put the film on YouTube to extend conversations and drive engagement.
5. In near future we will organize more events at more tense borders across the globe.
Outcome
Via the live outdoor events, we let people in Belfast, Cyprus and Kosovo momentarily forget the walls between them. We also made an online movie of the Border Football experience for further spreading and conversation. These 3 games are only the beginning of Carlsberg's long term commitment to organise Border Football games across the globe. It's too early to give exact results, since the campaign was launched at the end of April.
