OVERVIEW

Background

To create an unmissable OOH experience that generated continued earned media and social conversation, intended to drive awareness and tune in of the IP amongst award voters and consumers.

To continue to bolster Peacock’s brand perception through big swing activations for brand-defining IP, such as ted.

Execution

Times Square has thousands of tourists, commuters, advertisements, and stunts happening every day. It can be a difficult place to grab attention. Our goal was to begin with simple messaging that seems like any traditional piece of OOH. We believe the surprise and delight of Ted’s break-out moment left observers feeling engaged and excited for Ted while venturing to work, shopping, a show, etc.

Outcome

All eyes were on Ted's breakthrough Times Square moment-- and it was a lot of eyes. Our 3D OOH drove over 10M impressions. Times Square is a high-traffic location, so we took full advantage of the opportunity by providing creative that was fit for a bear with a larger-than-life personality.
