OVERVIEW

Description

The Burger King Weigh Your Wallet campaign was an activation with an objective to increase the store traffic in the midst of the country facing an increase cost of living. The activation provides customers with discount vouchers so they could spend and save more.

Execution

It ran during the entire month of Ramadan 2014, the month when Muslims are fasting and restrict themselves from eating during the day. The campaign ran at Burger King’s major outlets in Malaysia, such as Shah Alam and Mutiara Damansara; where there are high-traffic of both Muslim and non-Muslim customers.

Outcome

During this short period, over 2000 customers weighed their wallets. All printed vouchers were given away and the key outlets saw a 20% traffic increase.
