Description

Iker Casillas is Real Madrid’s world famous goalkeeper. Groupama is a leading insurance company in Europe but is not well known in Spain. The aim of the whole action was to generate brand awareness and recognition, as well as associating the brand with Iker Casillas. After having insured Iker Casillas’ hands for 7.5 million euros, the agency had the idea of creating an insurance policy and calling it Casillas. The action endeavours to channel users’ passion for Iker Casillas into their interaction with the brand and their approach to the world of car insurance.

The challenge was to get users close to Iker Casillas in his car, perfectly insured by Groupama.Brand Experience? Jump on Casillas’ car and you’ll see.Groupama shot up the global awareness ranking in Spain from around 60 to number 4, thanks to the Iker Casillas global action.
