A Special Edition B-Class designed by Calli-graffiti-artist Niels Shoe Meulman is a real ‘object of art’: Calli-graffitied all the female first names from A to Z, representing all the women that Pink Ribbon fights for.This special car is driven throughout The Netherlands by foundation members, calling attention to their cause wherever they pass, and has become a real ode to women.The painting with calli-graffiti of the car was an event in itself, which attracted a large crowd. The making of video that was made of the painting event was spread through the internet.
Outcome
- The Foundation received a lot of positive feedback when driving the Mercedes-Benz B-Class.- A lot of attention in a PR environment in which Mercedes-Benz is not normally present.- Positive responses for both Mercedes-Benz Netherlands as well as the Dutch Pink Ribbon Foundation, taking sponsorship to a new creative level.-The making of video created a viral effect. It was posted on blogs and Twitter, resulting in 31,000 views on campaign site in during the campaign period of 4 weeks - a lot for a small country like the Netherlands!
