Background

CNN (Cable News Network), a multinational news channel and website headquartered in Atlanta, GA (USA), has always opposed misinformation and fake news. In an era when people don't usually verify whether information is fake, CNN educates and provides reliable information about stories across the planet to everyone on TV and its website. The brand always makes campaigns to show people how easy it is to fall for fake news, but it's even easier to find trustworthy information on CNN’s platforms.

Outcome

Trump being pro-immigration? Putin calling to end the war against Ukraine? Netanyahu accepting the Palestinian state? Although we wanted all this news to be accurate, we know it's fake. We generated three speeches on ChatGPT that show just how easy it is to create something that everybody can believe in – even if it’s completely fake news. We also show that it's possible to disprove it even more quickly by reading news and getting information on CNN. Just three letters are all you need to find reliable information.
