A young tomato plant sprouts from the ground and begins growing rapidly. Before long, a blossom forms, which then gives way to a tiny green fruit.

As we continue to fast-forward through the plant’s life, it takes on some human qualities. The vines move like arms, with leaves as hands, cradling and gently rocking the baby tomato (which is growing larger by the second).

The wind picks up, and it starts raining. The leaves form an umbrella, shielding what is, at this point, a yellowish-orange tomato.The rain stops and the sun comes out, shining down on what is finally a ripe, red NatureSweet cherry tomato.The pace slows to real time. A farmer’s hand enters the frame and gently cradles the tomato – one of “the most pampered tomatoes in the world.”
