Description
Last Christmas, Cadbury’s unveiled its first ever Christmas advert in the company’s 189 year history. Taking over the streets of Plumstead in South East London, we transformed a typical London street. Everything from the trees, to the cars, the streetlights and even the rubbish bins were wrapped with festive Cadbury’s purple paper. With 2,500 metres of custom paper, rolls of giant sell-o-tape, reels and reels of shiny tinsel and a giant rooftop bow, the art department triumphantly fulfilled our director’s creative vision. And then what took hours disappeared in seconds. The film captured the giddiness and fervor of a hundred local kids as they destroyed the street, ripping and tearing at the beautifully wrapped objects. Little bulls in a china shop. The joy of Christmas morning captured on a grand scale.
