Description

The Cinema Delivery was a PR mechanism for the film "For Some Inexplicable Reason".

Because Hungarian people don't watch Hungarian films in the cinema anymore, only Western ones, for this one film, we built a Cinema Delivery. This mini cinema could be ordered like a pizza, for 7 people. The Cinema Delivery parked in the nearest spot to the home of who ordered it, and all 7 people paid for the ticket to be able to watch the film in the Delivery.

Execution

The Cinema Delivery worked for 2 weeks straight. The tickets for the Delivery were sold within 30 minutes of the campaign launch.

Outcome

The film made 11 times its production from ticket sales in Hungary.

People reached: 1,4 million worldwide

The campaign was reported on by Hungarian evening news, news portals (front page news). The film's news reached Variety Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter, and the Washington Post, as well as film blogs such as Screen Daily and Fundango.

The film got an 8.5 rating on IMDB.
