The Cinebuzz program gives you one movie free for every ten you see. So it’s perfect for people who go to the movies a lot. These people are going to see the Cinebuzz ad every time they go, because it plays in every Greater Union session so we decided to create an ad that would be interesting every time the movie lover comes back. We encrypted 50 famous movie titles in an animated commercial and challenged cinema-goers to guess them all. This way the ad is entertaining on the 2nd, the 20th, even the 40th viewing as people try to guess all the titles.
Outcome
The program achieved over 200% of its target for new memberships.
