Execution

We selected women’s magazine that had total relevance to the target.Magazines are the second choice of media investment in the beauty sector, so we needed to stand out and amaze the reader in an innovative way.We took advantage of the magazine’s format (stapled pages) to create this insert containing 4 pages that came loose inside the magazine. The message: Clogged pores? Next to the staples in the magazine, as if the machine had tried and failed to pierce the ad to join it with the other pages. Since the pores were clogged, the ad couldn’t be properly inserted in the magazine. The layout showed evidence of the attempts.Tagline in the ad: Deeply Cleanses Pores.This is how we clearly showed the products benefits: pore cleansing, clearing existing blackheads and avoiding new ones.

Outcome

Products such as this need to convey relevance in order to stimulate the target to try them out.A surprising action impacted readers in an intelligent and surprising way, standing out from the competition.
