Description
The Coca-Cola Christmas Tournament was an online Christmas campaign for Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Visitors competed for MP3 players by playing three custom Flash games based on the Coca-Cola elves. Players submitted bottle/can codes in order to compete for prizes (a campaign goal was to drive Coca-Cola sales). The campaign included banners and a viral mail component on Lunarstorm.se that generated a 60% click rate. The brief was to create an exciting and effective holiday campaign following up on the previous year's successful Coca-Cola Christmas Stars web. The online campaign was to merge seamlessly with TV and in-store components. Marketing objectives were to enhance the Coca-Cola brand and drive sales, with the teenage audience as target.
