OVERVIEW

Description

'code: SEVERE' is a podcast series telling the inside stories of real terrorist attacks, which reached number 2 in the iTunes chart within four days of launch.

The original music scored the twenty minute long narratives, creating a range of changing moods, from tension to menace, paranoia and finally reassurance. The music also had to provide a cohesive thread throughout diverse audio elements - interviews, surveillance recordings, court evidence, media coverage, recorded SFX and Foley. It was hosted by A-list actor Mark Strong. In “Hostile Reconnaissance” we told the story of suicide bomber Andrew Ibrahim, a lone wolf who was “completely unknown to the police”. While “Multiple bombings” told of a terror cell that tried to make a 600kg bomb – to be used in one of the largest terror attacks ever plotted on UK soil.
