We partnered with Network Ten (then no. 2 in Australia), negotiating the production of 10 mini ‘game shows’ to announce Coke’s winners! These programmes were aired every night in an exclusive break in a high rating programme – Neighbours. To ensure Coke’s ‘game show’ was entertaining, a glitzy and fun style was created, encouraging people to come back night after night. Coke’s ‘game show’ announced ordinary Australians winning extraordinary amounts of cash in an exciting, engaging way.
Outcome
All objectives were exceeded making this the single most successful Coke promotion in Australian history! The “mini game show” became a much talked about daily event and over 1,400,000 entries were received. Coke sales increased by more than 10%.
