Description

Overview - Persil was one of the major corporate sponsors for 2001 Comic Relief donating £300, 000 through sales of special packs of Persil. Additionally, Persil sponsored packs for schools, the special pack, money raising for youth clubs and a scratch and match lottery poster for offices. The slogan for Comic Relief in 2001 was "Say Pants to Poverty", so Persil asked various celebrities and designers to design their own pair of pants. These pants were shown at the Persil Arty Pants Exhibition at Leeds City Art Gallery. Modem media negotiated an online auction of the pants with www.fsauctions.co.uk and produced all creative work for the site which included banners, buttons, a variety of pages, a pop up, email text for newsletter subscribers and even a press ad!
