Description
Goldfish’s enduring brand equity is its strength – through short stories demonstrating that you can do anything with a Goldfish, the Me and My Goldfish campaign aimed to re-frame the brand’s egalitarian, unconventional values for 2008.
Execution
The fully integrated campaign spanned outdoor, print, film, online and PR and was launched on 31st December 2007.
Four famous writers were commissioned to write short stories exploring relationships between people and their Goldfish. The beginnings were published on posters and in press. Readers were invited to read on at meandmygoldfish.com where they could also download MP3s narrated by the authors and view short films of the stories. The PR activity supported the campaign championing storytelling through links with reading charities.
