The film is accompanied by an adapted version of one of the most popular song’s addressing Mary, Franz Schubert’s “Ave Maria” (“Hail Mary”). The lines, taken from the first and the second verse of the song, tell – in the new combination – the story of a pleading child asking Mary for help and protection. We chose this track because it highlights the helplessness of the children that have been abused by members of the church, most of the time not being able to turn anywhere for help.
