D&AD tasked us to create trophies for both the In Book and Nomination awards. The Slices needed to reflect the achievement each award represents without diluting the value of the coveted Yellow Pencil.

The shape and proportions are exactly the same as the Pencils. The hexagonal shape of both awards has the same footprint as the Pencil. The Slices use the iconic D&AD yellow and are made from wood. Presentation book boxes were created to hold and display the Slices. The box design echoes the D&AD annual and is an effective way to showcase each award. The unique and special awards that are destined to line the shelves of the world’s top creatives.
