Execution
To bring The Wild Within to life, we invited travel writers to private, custom-tailored events in major cities across North America. Here, they dawned Oculus and Samsung VR headsets to explore BC’s Great Bear Rainforest. We also partnered with Samsung, who featured The Wild Within experience on its new Gear VR headset during the CES International Tech Convention. And finally, we made the experience available for download on Destination BC’s website.
Outcome
The initiative resulted in over 100 editorial features on British Columbia, and garnered more than 46 million impressions online.
