Outcome
Launched in November 2009 to capitalise on the lucrative Christmas period. Focusing our activity in the mornings and early evening meant we maximised our exposure to our target audience – the affluent commuter – who may have been considering sending gifts to friends and family living or working abroad. The activity brought about a substantial increase in footfall into the city centre Mail Box etc stores from which the UPS shipments can be sent. Revenue from ‘walk-in’ non-account holders jumped 18.7% compared to the same period in 2008, which brought about an unprecedented ROI given the relatively small production costs.
