Background

Switzerland's dessert culture is rather simple and conservative. The brief was to launch a new range of donuts for McDonald's Switzerland. But what we ended up doing was more of a brand platform than merely a campaign. The visuals stand out among the masses of print ads in Switzerland, and the whimsical animations shown on DOOHs and In-Store bring the products to life. The objective was to raise awareness for McDonald's as a serious dessert destination, able to compete with the likes of Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme Donuts.

Execution

This campaign's strength lies in the detail of the products shown up close. The hyper-realistic 3D aesthetic actually looks more mouth watering than the real deal - the products, as well as the visuals have been crafted with love and attention to detail while the campaign shows a humourous approach to launching a range of new dessert products for McDonald's.
